Lighting is the single most transformative element in event production. It directs attention, establishes mood, reinforces branding, and elevates the entire visual experience from ordinary to extraordinary. Walk into a ballroom lit with standard house lights and it feels like a cafeteria. Walk into the same ballroom with programmed uplighting in deep amber, pinspots on every centerpiece, and a gobo monogram on the dance floor, and it feels like a world-class event. That transformation is what professional lighting delivers.
At Secrets For Victory Inc, we provide comprehensive lighting design, equipment rental, and on-site programming for events ranging from intimate corporate dinners to large-scale concert tours. Our lighting inventory features over 728 professional fixtures from the industry’s most trusted manufacturers, including Chauvet Professional, ADJ (American DJ), Elation Professional, ETC, and Blizzard Lighting. Every fixture in our stock is maintained to performance standards and supported by experienced lighting designers and technicians.
Fixture Types and Capabilities
We carry a full range of lighting instruments to address every production need:
Moving Heads
Chauvet Professional and ADJ Vizi series spot, wash, and beam fixtures with full pan/tilt articulation, CMY and RGBW color mixing, gobo projection, prism effects, and zoom optics. These are the workhorses of modern event lighting — they can be a tight spot on a keynote speaker one moment and a sweeping aerial wash the next, all programmable from the console.
Wash Lights
RGBW and RGBWA+UV LED wash fixtures from Blizzard Lighting and Chauvet for smooth, even color coverage across stages, walls, ceilings, and architectural features. UV capability adds that extra dimension for glow parties, after-events, and immersive experiences.
Beam Lights
Tight, high-intensity beam fixtures for dramatic aerial effects and high-energy concert and festival looks. When combined with Antari haze machines, beam fixtures create the iconic “light tunnel” effect that defines modern concert visuals.
Par Lights
Blizzard LED par cans and Chauvet SlimPAR series in various sizes for stage wash, uplighting, and accent lighting. Available in battery-powered wireless versions for venues where running power cable is impractical — think outdoor ceremonies, tent receptions, or architectural uplighting on historic buildings.
Profile & Ellipsoidal (ETC)
ETC Source Four ellipsoidals and fresnels for precise, focused light with sharp edges. Used for gobo projection, logo display, theatrical applications, and any situation where you need a defined beam with clean edges. The industry standard for corporate presentations and theatrical productions.
Blinders & Strobes
High-output audience blinders and strobe effects for concerts, festivals, and high-energy moments. Deployed in banks of 2, 4, or 8 units for wall-of-light effects that energize crowds.
LED Bars & Strip Lights
Blizzard LED bars for scenic accents, stage edge marking, set piece outlining, and architectural detail lighting. Pixel-mappable for dynamic color chasing and wave effects.
DMX Control and Programming
All of our lighting systems are controlled via DMX512 protocol, operated from professional lighting consoles including MA Lighting and ChamSys platforms. Our designers program custom cue sequences, chases, and effects tailored to your event’s timeline and aesthetic.
For corporate events, that might mean subtle, elegant transitions between presentation segments — a slow fade from white stage wash to blue during a video playback, then back to warm white for the next speaker. For concerts and festivals, it means beat-synced chases, strobe bursts on the drop, moving head ballyhoos, and audience sweeps timed to the music. Our programmers build the show file to match the mood.
Intelligent Lighting Design
Lighting design is where technical skill meets creative vision. Our designers work with you to develop a lighting concept that supports the event’s objectives:
Corporate Events
Clean, professional stage lighting with branded color washes and audience-friendly general illumination. We match your brand’s Pantone colors precisely. If your corporate palette is navy and gold, every wash, every uplight, and every gobo will reflect those colors.
Weddings & Galas
Warm, elegant uplighting in amber, blush, or custom colors along the walls and columns. Pinspot accents on every centerpiece and the wedding cake. Custom gobo monogram projections on the dance floor. String light canopies overhead. Then, when it is time to dance, the energy shifts: moving heads come alive, color washes sweep the floor, and the celebration kicks into high gear.
Concerts & Festivals
High-energy, dynamic rigs with 40, 60, or 80+ moving heads, banks of beam fixtures, strobes, and blinders, all programmed in Antari haze for maximum aerial impact. This is production lighting at its most intense, and it is where our designers thrive.
Product Launches
Dramatic reveals using blackouts, tightly focused ETC ellipsoidal spots, and synchronized lighting sequences. Imagine a stage in total darkness, a single shaft of light hitting a podium, the audience in suspense — then a burst of color and movement as the product is unveiled. That is lighting design creating a moment.
Atmospheric Effects: Haze and Fog
Lighting without atmosphere is like painting without a canvas. We deploy Antari professional haze and fog machines on nearly every production:
Haze Machines
Produce a fine, even atmospheric haze that makes light beams visible without obscuring the audience’s view. Standard on virtually every concert, corporate stage, and gala.
Low-Fog Machines
Dense, ground-hugging fog for dramatic wedding first dances, theatrical entrances, and gala stage reveals.
From Intimate Events to Large-Scale Productions
Our inventory and our team scale to fit the event:
20 wireless uplights around the room, 6 pinspots on key design elements, 2 ETC ellipsoidals for gobo projection, and a small ChamSys controller
40 uplights, 12 moving heads on overhead truss, pinspots, gobos, haze, and a dedicated lighting designer
80+ moving heads, 40 wash lights, banks of beams and strobes, full haze system, MA Lighting grandMA console, and a two-person lighting team
We size the rig to the venue, the audience, and the budget, and we deliver the same level of quality and attention at every scale.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is uplighting and do I need it?
Uplighting is the placement of LED wash fixtures around the perimeter of a room, pointed upward at the walls and columns. It is the single most impactful and cost-effective lighting upgrade you can make. A ballroom with uplighting looks dramatically better in photos and in person. We recommend it for nearly every indoor event.
Can you match my brand colors exactly?
Yes. Our LED fixtures offer full RGBW color mixing, which means we can match virtually any color, including specific Pantone values. Send us your brand guidelines and we will program your exact colors into the lighting design.
Do I need a lighting designer at my event?
For simple uplighting packages, we can pre-program the fixtures and no operator is needed during the event. For anything involving moving heads, cue sequences, or dynamic programming, we strongly recommend having a lighting designer on site. They will run the show, make real-time adjustments, and ensure the lighting responds to the energy of the event.
What is the difference between DMX and wireless lighting?
DMX is a wired control protocol that connects all fixtures to a console via cable. Wireless DMX transmits the same signal over radio frequency, eliminating the need for cables between fixtures. We use wireless DMX for uplighting and other fixtures where running cable is impractical, and wired DMX for large rigs where absolute reliability is critical.
