Allen & Heath MixWizard WZ4 14:4:2 All Purpose Mixer

The compact and versatile MixWizard WZ4 14:4:2 from Allen & Heath is an all-purpose analog mixer designed for professional live sound applications (such as FOH, Monitoring, or both simultaneously), recording, and even corporate events. The WZ4 14:4:2 is the ideal tool for applications that don’t require lots of channels but can’t compromise on audio quality. Featuring individual circuit cards, potentiometers nutted to the panel for absolute strength, rugged steel chassis, and optimized circuitry for superb sonic performance, this fourth generation MixWizard console is newly fitted with two digital FX engines with parameter control that comes with 20 built-in FX presets and EQ in/out switching.

Boasting a total of 20 input connections, The WZ4 14:4:2 mixer comes with 10 mono mic/line inputs with a high-pass filter per channel, as well as 2 full-channel dual stereo inputs for connecting keyboards or other stereo instruments and a 2-track replay input. It also comes with a 2×6-way matrix for multi-purpose outputs during recording and broadcast feeds, delay fills, zone feeds, and much more. Other features include an oscillator and pink noise generator, individual talkback to all outputs, comprehensive engineer’s metering and monitoring, and a lamp socket.

Integrate your W4 14:4:2 anywhere with ease. Using Allen & Heath’s QCC connector system, you can effortlessly use the mixer free-standing, mounted in a 19” rack, or in a portable flight case. The supplied protective side trims keep the mixer from being scratched up during transport but can be removed for permanent installation. Rotate the connector pod for rear-facing or underside connectors for rack-mounting the mixer.

Access a host of internal user options by removing the mixer’s base. Set your user preference for aux, direct output, or AB sources. An optional kit is available to fit a USB2 output card so you can link the mixer to a computer for multitrack recording, while an LED gooseneck lamp can be added for illuminating the console in low lighting.
