Chauvet DJ Obey 70 DMX Controller

The Chauvet DJ Obey 70 hardware controller offers a control option between small rack mount controllers and huge control desks. It is ideal for controlling fixtures with functions beyond simple color changes, such as moving heads, lights with gobos, or pan tilt fixtures.

This universal DMX controller can be mounted in a 4U 4-space mounting rack. Relatively compact in size, it offers the functions of much larger controllers. Enjoy greater accessibility and programming ease with 14 faders and an assignable joystick.

Use the Obey 70 to program up to 12 intelligent lights, each with up to 32 channels. The Obey 70 itself has 384 channels of DMX control and 30 banks of 8 scenes, for control of up to 240 scenes.

Sliders and buttons are laid out and labeled for quick and easy operation. Control functions for scene selection, chase effects, the speed and time of fade levels, and other fixture-specific features. Create scenes and chases in Program Mode. Fog and strobe control, beat activation, tap-sync, and auto run are all possible with the Obey 70.

Set scenes ahead of time on the Obey 70. Program the functions you want, store them and when it’s time to use them in your show call them up with the touch of a button. The LCD screen along the top of the controller is helpful in seeing which scene is active.

This controller is compatible with various connections, most notably being MIDI in and DMX polarity switch.
