The ISA 428 MkII incorporates 4 renowned Focusrite microphone pres in a 2U enclosure so you have the power to adjust aspects of mic preamps, instrument inputs and line ins at your fingertips. Add this 8-channel A-D card to Focusrite’s ISA 428 MkII and ISA 828 MkII microphone preamps to provide high-quality analog-to-digital conversion. The 4 preamp channels from the ISA428 are routed through channels 1-4, while channels 5-8 encode external fixed-level balanced analog line inputs. Audio quality excels whether in normal operation at 24-bit/192kHz sample rate, or when pairing the Brainworx bx_console Focusrite plug-in to capture the sound and styling of original Focusrite ISA 110 Equaliser and ISA 130 Dynamics Modules.

Featuring Dante, the card includes primary and secondary RJ45 Dante output ports for redundancy that automatically switch over if failure occurs. The Dante network can be synchronized to multiple digital sources. Route and control the Dante network from your computer without needing hardware patching thanks to RedNet Control and Dante Controller software. Dante Controller configures routing, RedNet Control accesses metering and settings. Software applications all have graphical interfaces, displaying information like control and function settings, signal meters, signal routing and mixing. The card also offers AES3 and ADAT connectivity through AES59 DB25 connector for AES3 output and two TOSLINK connectors for ADAT output. Word Clock input and output also enables synchronization to various digital sources, and can sync the Dante network to house clock or external equipment to the Dante network.
