Shure SCM810 8-Channel Automatic Mixer

The SCM810 from Shure is an 8-channel automatic mixer for installed sound applications.

This automatic mixer is full-featured and packed with compatibility options that have been specifically designed with installed sound applications in mind. Built to improve audio quality wherever multiple microphones are in use, this 8-channel mixer allows for fast mic selection and includes adjustable EQ per channel, adjustable low-frequency roll-off, and a level-selectable peak-responding output limiter.

The SCM810 features 8 balanced mic-line input channels (with Phoenix block connectors), active balanced microphone- or line-level inputs (One unbalanced 1/4″ aux level input) and line-level outputs (8 unbalanced 1/4″ direct line level outputs and 1 balanced master line level output with a Phoenix block connector).

The SCM810 comes with Shure’s patented IntelliMix® digital signal processing technology. IntelliMix helps you achieve audio clarity in any and every occasion by ensuring that microphones are only activated when they are addressed, which lets you reduce poor audio even when using multiple open mics. This is a great feature for discussion panels, debates, meetings, and so much more.

Other features include 48V phantom power (selectable 46V phantom power per channel), 120/230 Vac power, and the capability to link up to 400 microphones with an internal power supply. The SCM810 is constructed with heavy-duty circuitry and housing that’s highly resistant to RF. Its full rack width, 1RU high build makes it great for permanent install.
